About Me I am a 48 year old little old lady! Humm, I try to convince my children of that anyway! I have 3 wonderful grown stepchildren that have given me 3 awesome grandbabies. I have three blood children. Two grown and one a senior in high school. My oldest child is pagan, she has a beautiful little boy that will be 2 in May. My son is pure southern baptist lol. Calls me and his sisters tree hugging druids! Needless to say we don't discuss religion lol! My senior is Wiccan. And she will tell you "SHE IS NOT A WITCH!" Definite views with that one lol.. I am a chatterbox once I get to know someone. Humm must be cause I am Scorpio. I'll blame it on that anyway!

Music Sorry...born and bred a country fan. I listen to my children's music but only can handle it if I am in the mood!

Movies Humm,Ghost, Tango and Cash, Dirty Dancing, Practical Magic, McLintock, NOT HORROR! Not big on scifi either.

TV Law and Order, The CSI's, Reba, The history channel

Books My "witchy" books, romances, a well written biography. Anything if I'm desperate! I am a book-acholick!!!

Likes Nature hikes, camping, fishing (I eat not discard), spending time with the kids and grandkids. Fall days.

Dislikes Liars, noise, hot days(sorry I have m.s. so I can't handle days hotter than 80 degrees.) People that miss use and abuse government programs! Animal abuse (we have three dogs and 5 cats, 1 ferret, 1 dove, 1 ball python). People that say they know it all!

Hobbies sewing, crafts of all kinds, reading, cooking, my herb garden (small but comfy!) Being outside, My photography!!!!

Vices talk a lot, cuss more than I should! But I try to watch it especially when the grandbabies are around! Hate housework! Thankfully I found Flylady.net!!!

Heroes My hubby! For putting up with my (to him) weird ways that always has him pulling what is left of his hair lol!! He is the son of a methodist minister so my ways are sometimes really strange to him!

I have decided that is my new name lol..at least when I am in my van! About a week ago at about 10pm I decided to go snow-bahaing in my dearest van! The lady was watching over me! I ended up perpendicular to the road! But I didn't roll it!! I will NEVER take that road in any kind of bad weather again!!!! I had almost forgot my cell phone and had gone back for it! So was able to call for help without having to walk in the dark and snow! My van cost $101 to get out of the ditch and towed 30 miles home but there was NOTHING wrong with it!!!!

I love that van! It has taken great care of me in the year I have had it! I call it my gremlin-mobile now. It has an attitude about everything! Horn quit working...interior lights go on or off when they want, it beeps when it feels like it from a door sensor messing up and the door open light is always on lol!! To top it of the cd player face will only open if it is cold! If it is above 35° it wont open so forget changing the cd!!

Everyone is still laughing at me (grrrrr!!!). I had never had a wreck much less gone in the ditch! Humm what's next, a ticket? Best not be!!! Never had one of those either!

Happy Birthday to Me!!!!

Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me!! Another year gone....went very fast this time! Seems like the older I get the shorter the years are! This year I got my herb garden started.

Got to watch my only blood grandbaby grow through his first year! Now that is a biggy!!! Didn't think I'd ever be a grandma!!!! Well not blood anyway! I adore my stepgrandbabies, don't get me wrong! But there is just something special about holding a baby that is your own bloodlines! No way for him to escape the weirdness of this family!!!

It has just been a special year!!!

My m.s. is not active for the first time in almost 30 yrs so I have done sooo much more than I can usually do! I have been outside sooo much this year!!! I feel like my old self!

I discovered www.flylady.net. That has helped me get my house out from under all the clutter and junk. So I am so much more relaxed! I even started making menus for the two-week pay period! It has saved us sooo much money! And I don't have to worry what is for supper! I can just look at my schedule and know what to set to thaw and how long till supper! I am enjoying cooking again!
